(1) For the performance of its functions the Board shall appoint from amongst its members an 2[Executive Committee, Education Committee] and an Examination Commit- tee and may appoint such other Committees as it thinks necessary and it shall be lawful for the Board to appoint a person who is not a member of the Board as a member of any such Committee: Provided that nothing in this sub-section shall be deemed to preclude the Chairman or the Deputy Chairman from being named by the Board as a member of any such Committee: Provided further that where the Chairman or the Deputy Chairman is named as a member of any Committee, the Chairman or, as the case may be, the Deputy Chairman shall be the Chairman of such Committee. (2) Subject to the provision contained in sub-section (1), the constitution of every Committee appointed by the Board under sub-section (1), the term of office of its members and the functions of the Board to be performed by it shall be such as may be prescribed. Explanation.—For the purpose of this section the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman of the Board shall be deemed to be its members.
