Whoever is found drunk or drinking in a common drinking house or is found there present for the purpose of drinking, shall, on conviction, be punished with fi ne which may extend to fi ve hundred rupees. Any person found in a common drinking house during any drinking therein shall be presumed, until the contrary is proved, to have been there for the purpose of drinking.
