(1) The 99[State] Government may appoint such officers (including inspecting officers) as it may deem necessary for the purpose of superintendence and inspection and generally for the purposes of giving effect to the provisions of this Act. (2) The officer appointed under sub-section (1) shall be the servant of the 102[State] Government and their powers and duties shall be such as may be prescribed.
