If no person 3( appears within the period specified in the proclamation In default of claim, property to be at disposal of State Government. under sub-section (I) of section 85 and establishes his claim to the property within the period specified in the said sub-section (I)] it shall be at the disposal of the State Government, and property, or such part thereof as has not alreday been sold under sub-section (2) of section 85, may be sold by auction under the orders of the Commissioner, or the Magistrate concerned, as the case may be. l.
