(I) Every affiliated centre or college or recognized institution shall furnish such repons, returns and other information as the Board may, after consulting the Academic Council, required for enabling it to judge the efficiency of the centre or the college or the institution. (2) On a direction being made by the Board in that behalf, it shall be the duty of the inspection Committee constituted for that purpose., to inspect an affiliated college or a recognized institution and to make a report to the Board. (3) The Board shall cause every such centre or college or institution to be inspected from time to time by the inspection committee. (4) The Board may call upon any centre or college or institution so inspected to take, within a specified period. such action as may appear tO it to be necessary in respect of any of the matters referred to in sub- section (2) of section 45 or, as the case may be, sub-section (2) of section
