(1) There shall be established, in the State of Gujarat, a University by the name of the Gujarat National Law University which shall consist of the Visitor, the Chairman, the General Council, the Executive Council, the Academic Council and the Officers of the University; [Provided that the General Council may, from time to time, through resolution establish additional campus at such place within or outside the State of Gujarat under the control of the University.
