No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against the Registrar General, Registrar, Assistant Registrar or any omcer or employee subordinate to him appointed under section 3 or any person acting on his authority, in respect of anythir:g which is in good faith done or purported to be done by him in pusuance of the provisions of this Act, or rules made thereunder or any insructions, for carryigg.out the purposes of this Act.
