Notwithstanding anything contained in section 22, the State Government shall appoint the first Registrar, as soon as practicable after the commencement of this Act for a period not exceeding three years on such terms and conditions as the State Government thinks fit, who shall exercise the powers and discharge the functions of the Registrar. --------------- GOVERNMENT CENTRAL PRESS, GANDHINAGAR.
