XVII ] The Gandhi National Memorial Fund (Local Authorities’ Donations) Act, 1953 BOMBAY ACT No. XVII OF 1953.1 *THE GANDHI NATIONAL MEMORIAL FUND (LOCAL AUTHORITIES’ DONATIONS) ACT, 1953.] [2nd May 1953] An Act to authorize the use of contributions or donations made by local authorities to the Gandhi Memorial Fund outside the limits of such local authorities. WHEREAS it is expedient to make provision for authorizing the use of the contributions or donations made by local authorities in the State of Bombay to the fund known as the Gandhi National Memorial Fund, outside the limits of such local authorities ; It is hereby enacted as follows :–
