(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Governing Body shall be responsible for framing the broad policy in relation to matters of the University. (2) The Governing Body shall have the power to obtain from the Board of Management the annual accounts, audited report and the annual report of the University. (3) Where the Governing Body desires any information or explanation or any other thing in relation to the affairs of the University, it shall be lawful for it to require information, explanation or any other thing from the concerned authority of the University and may give directions to authorities of the University as it thinks fit.
