Section 248

When the guardian is appointed head of the family

When the guardian is appointed head of the family.— Where there is no surviving spouse nor heirs referred to in section 247, the court shall appoint the guardian of the heirs under disability as the head of the family and where there is more than one group of heirs with different guardians, such guardian as is chosen by the court and, till such time there is no guardian appointed by the court, the court shall appoint provisionally a receiver from amongst the nearer relatives of the heirs under disability.
