Section 215

Interpretation of wills

Interpretation of wills.— (1) Where any doubt arises as to the interpretation of a testamentary disposition, the intention of the testator shall be gathered from the will and accordingly carried out. (2) When the words of a will are unambiguous, but it is found from extrinsic evidence that they admit of interpretations, one only of which can have been intended by the testator, extrinsic evidence may be taken to show which of these interpretations was intended.
