Re-acquisition of competence to succeed

Re-acquisition of competence to succeed.— (1) A person unworthy to succeed re- acquires competence to succeed if the estate leaver expressly rehabilitates him by a will or a deed drawn before a Special Notary. (2) Where the testator does not expressly rehabilitate such person, but the testator benefits him in the will when he was fully aware that he had given cause to be unworthy to succeed, the person may inherit within the parameters of the testamentary disposition.
