Members, officers and employees of the Board or the Sub-Committee, constituted under this Act to be public servants.— All the members of the Board and Sub- Committee constituted under this Act and all officers and other employees of the Board or the Sub-Committee when acting or purporting to be acting in pursuance of any provisions of this Act or the rules and regulations made or orders or directions issued thereunder shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal - 20 - Code, 1860 (45 of 1860).
