Power to demand punishment or dismissal.— Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, if in the opinion of the State Government any officer or servant of the Corporation is negligent in the discharge of his duties, the Corporation shall, on the requirement of the State Government, suspend, fine or otherwise punish him, and if in the --142-- opinion of the State Government he is unfit for his employment, the Corporation shall dismiss him.
