Disputes between State Government and Corporation.— (1) If at any time it appears to the State Government that a dispute has arisen or is likely to arise between the State Government and the Corporation as to the interpretation of any of the provisions of this Act or of any of the rules made thereunder, which is of such a nature and of such public importance that it is expedient to obtain the opinion of the High Court upon it, the State Government may refer the question to the High Court for consideration, and the High Court may, after such hearing as it thinks fit, report to the State Government. (2) The report drawn up by the High Court under sub-section (1) shall be binding on the State Government and the Corporation. (3) Nothing in this section shall derogate from the authority of the State Government as laid down in Chapter XXXIII --140-- PART IX CHAPTER XXXIII Control
