Disinfection of public conveyance after carriage of patient or dead body.— (1) The owner, driver or person in charge of any public conveyance in which any person suffering from a dangerous disease or the dead body of any person who has died of such disease has been carried shall immediately take the conveyance for disinfection to a place appointed under sub-section (1) of section 250. (2) The person in charge of such place shall forthwith intimate to the Medical Officer of Health the number of the conveyance and proceed to disinfect the conveyance. (3) No such conveyance shall be used until the Medical Officer of Health has granted a certificate stating that it may be used without causing risk of infection.
