Powers of Medical Officer of Health to inspect places and take measures to prevent spread of dangerous diseases.— The Medical Officer of Health, or any other municipal officer authorised by him in this behalf, may, at any time by day or by night, without notice, or after giving such notice of his intention as may, in the circumstances, appear to him to be reasonable, inspect any place in which any dangerous disease is reported or suspected to exist, and take such measures as he may think fit to prevent the spread of the disease beyond such place.
