Commissioner to supply copies on payment.— The Commissioner shall furnish to any person who applies for it, a copy of the valuation or assessment list for the time being in force or any extract from any such list on payment of a sum not exceeding the rate of five rupees for every page numbered separately, and the Commissioner or a person authorized by him in this behalf shall, if required, certify the copy or extract in such manner as may be prescribed.
