Disqualifications for membership – A person shall be disqualified, for being nominated as and for being, a member of the Board if he: (a) does not ordinarily reside within Delhi; (b) is below twenty-five year of age; (c) has been removed from membership of a marketing committee under section 50; (d) is of unsound mind and stands so declared by a competent court; or (e) is an un-discharged insolvent; or (f) has been convicted by a criminal court, whether within or outside Delhi, of any offence which, in the opinion of the Government, involves moral turpitude; Provided that the disqualification on the ground of conviction by a criminal court shall not apply after the expiry of five years from the date of his release.
