Section 13

Punishment for contravention of Section 7.-

Whoever, in contravention of Section 7, or any rule made under that section, or any condition of a licence granted thereunder- (a) imports into, [India]; (b) exports from, [India]; or (c) tranships, any dangerous drug [shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to three years, with or without fine]. Subs. by Act 52 of 1957, Sec.6, for "shall be punished with imprisonment which may extend to two years or with fine or with both". Subs. by Act 62 of 1956, Sec.2 and Schedule, for "the States".
