(/) The provisions of this Act shall not prccltldc the Central Govemnent or the Government from continuing or formulating other food based welfare schemes. (2) Notwithstaviiing anything contained in this Act, the Slate Government may, continue with or formulate food or nutrilion based plansor schemes providing for benefits higher lhan the hejlefits provided under this Act, from its own resources.
