Sec. 1 | Bihar Shops & Establishments Act, 1953 | 7 S.O. 691, dated 7th April, 1979.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Bihar Shops and Establishments Act, 1953 (Bihar Act VIII of 1954), the Governor of Bihar is pleased to appoint the 1st of January, 1979 as the date on which all the provisions of the said Act shall come into force in the place as mentioned in column 2 of the Schedule hereto annexed.
