Appointment of Secretary and his removal. – (1) The Government shall appoint Secretary of the Board with such terms and conditions and for such period as may be prescribed by the Government. (2) A person to be appointed to the post of Secretary shall be an officer of the level of Joint Director or above of Bihar Education Service or an officer of the level of Joint Secretary or above of Bihar Administrative Service. (3) The Government may, by notification, remove the Secretary, at any time.
