Establishment and incorporation of Board.– (1) There shall be established by the Government a Board known by the name of the Bihar School Examination Board which shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and shall by that name sue and be sued. (2) The Board shall have power to acquire and hold property, both movable and immovable, and, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Rules/Regulations made thereunder, to transfer any property held by it and to contract and to do all other things necessary for the purposes of this Act. (3) The headquarter of the Board shall be situated at Patna, having its regional offices at different places, as per decision of the Board.
