Quorum — (1) The Quorum for a meeting shall be one-twentieth of the total members of the Gram Sabha. (2) If at the time appointed for the meeting a quorum is not complete or if the meeting has begun and attention is drawn towards want of quorum, the presiding authority shall wait for one hour and if within such period there is no quorum, the presiding authority shall adjourn the meeting to such time on the following day or such future day as he may fix. The business which could not be considered at the meeting so postponed for want of quorum shall be brought before and 7 disposed of at the subsequent adjourned meeting or meetings for which a quorum of one fortieth of the total members of the Gram Sabha shall be required.
