(1) Except where otherwise expresslv piovid- Ma tters ex- ed in this Act or in rules issued thereunder no Civil empted from Court shall exercise jurisdiction in any of the follow- ing matters :— Court. (a) Claims to commutation of rent by pri vileged raiyats. (Z») Claims to reduction, enhancement or altera tion of rents of holdings. (c) Claims to compensation for withholding of pro per receipt or damages to landlord under section 52. (</) Claims to deposit rent. («) Claims to register improvements. ( / ) Applications for acquisition of holdings by landlords. (») Applications for permission or order in regard to measurement of lan d or for correct measurement. 46 (/») Formation of record-of-rights under Chapter IX or the preparation, signing or alteration of any document contained therein. (i) Maintenance of record-of-rights referred to in section 85. (j ) Application for enhancement of rent under Section 116. (2) In all the above matters, jurisdiction shall, except as provided in sub-section (1), rest with the revenue authorities only. fr°m
