- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Assam Pa ncha yat (Amendm ent) Act, 1964
- S. 2Section 2 amends the Assam Panchayat Act by deleting clause (4) and renumbering subsequent clauses, adding a new definition for 'Financial Year', and inserting a new clause defining 'House'.
