- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Assam Muni cipal (Amendment) Act, 1962
- S. 2The section allows the State Government to declare that non-tax-paying voters in a specified area can still register and vote if the non-payment was due to late assessment.
- S. 3(1) The Assam Municipal (Amendment) Ordinance, 1962 is hereby repealed
