(1) The Executive Council may, in cases where the Chief Executive er of the Councillor is required to take, in accordance with the provisions of this Act or the Chief Execu- rules maqe thereunder or any other law for the time being in force, any action sub- tive Council- ject to the approval of the Executive Council, by a general or special resolution, au- lor. thorise the Chief Executive Councillor to take such action subject to such condition, 0 if any, as may be specified therein, in anticipation of such approval. (2) Whenever the Chief Executive Councillor takes any action under sub- section (1) above, he shall inform the Executive Council forthwith and shall obtain the approval thereof.
