Regulations .49. No act or proccedings of the University or ol'any authority or Committee of the University shttl be invalid rnerely by reasons ofthe existence ofany vacancy or vacancies among its memhors or by reason of the allcged invalidity of thc election' nomination, appointment of any of its members or by reason of any alleged iiregularity in the nranner of choosing a member. Whenever any qudstiotr arises as to whcrher sny person has been duly elected, sPpoint.d. chosen or Rominated as, or is entitled io be a Eiember of any Authority or Body of the Univer':sity or whether any decision of any of the Authoritios or of the Viie-chancellor oi the Univarsity is in conformity with this Act- the Statutas and tlre Ordinancrs, the question shall be referred to the Chancellor whose decision shall be t"inal' All ex-officio nrembers of all authoriries of 'the University shelt hold oftice so long as they hold membership, offices or posts by virtue of which they become members of such Authorities.
