other laws No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against the State Government, any Local Self-Government or any officer or servant or any person acting under the direction of the State Government or Local Self-Government in respect o f anything done or intended to be done in good faith under this Act or any rule or order made thereunder: Provided that before declaring any such action to have been done in good faith as aforesaid, the approval of State Government shall be obtained. The provisions of this Act shall be applicable in addition to the provisions of any other law for the time being in force, to the extent they are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act aid the provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything contrary contained in any other law for the time being in force.
