After Section 10 G of the principal Act the Section 1 OH . . . , after Sectionfollowmg shall be inserted as Section 10 H, namely:- IOG of the Assam Act XVI of 1955 "Dissolution 10 H-(1) The State Government may, by not.ifica- r{ t~e tion in the official gazette, direct that the Board shall oar · be dissolved from the date specified in the notifica- tion; and thereupon the Board shall be deemed to be dissolved accordingly and the Executive Committee, Standing Finance Committee and any other Com- mittee appointed under this Act, shall cease to func- tion. (2) On and from the said date - (a) All properties and funds, which im- mediately before the said date were in the possession of the Board for the pur- poses of this Act shall vest in the State Government ; (b) all members, shall vacate office as mem- bers of the Board; and (c) all rights, obligations and liabilities (in- cluding any liabilities under any contract) of the Board shal1 become the rights, obligations and liabilities of the State Government.'' n.
