In Section 4 of the Principal A t,—- For sub-sections (I), 12), and (3), the following shall be substituted, namely - (1) The Board shall consol such num ber of members as the State Governm ent may appoint. C ue oi such members shall be appointed bv the State G overnm ent as the Chairm an and anothei as the Secretary. In addition to the Chairm an and the Secretary, the State Government may appoint another mem ber of the Board as the V ice-Chairm an. 'J he V ice-C ba'rm an. if any appoin ted, the C hairm an, die Secretary and other members of the Board shall hold office for such period as the State Governm ent may, by general or special order, direct (2) The V ice-Chairm an, if any appointed, the C hairm an, the Secretary or any' other m em ber of the Board mav, at any time, resign ins office by subm it ting his resignation in writing to the Smte Govern ment. Provided that resignation shall not take effect until it is accepted.
