The District Judge or the District Magistrate according as it is a civil or criminal case may, either on his own motion or on the application of an y party, call for the record of any case which has been decided by the Gram Sabha Adalat and if it appears to him th at a failure of justice has occurred, he may make such order in the case as he thinks fit.
