The pay and allowances of the Commissioner allowances a s m a y from time to time be fixed by the State of Commis- Go v e r n m ent, shall be paid in the first instance from the consolidated fund of the State. The whole of .the pay and allowances paid to the Commis sioner and the contributions towards his leave salary and pension to the extent required shall be credited monthly io the State fund by the Corporation. Leave of 32.(1) Leave may be granted to the Commis- Commissioner sioner by the State Government on the recommenda tion of Mayor.
