In the principal Act, in section 3, the following proviso shall be added, namely :-- "Provided that during the period of operation of the Assam Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 2000 a further sum of fifty crores of rupees shall be paid from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Assam into the Contingency Fund."
