(1) There shall be a Board of Studies in each main branch of study. Those branches shall be specified, and when necessary modified by the Academic council. (2) Each Board of Studies shall consist of the following members, namely: - (i) Chairman - A Professor or Head of Department of the University in the branch concerned, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; (ii) three persons with qualifications in the branch of study elected by the Academic Council; (iii) one expert consultant, not connected with the University nominated by the Chairman with approval of the Vice-Chancellor; (3) Subject to the previous approval of the Vice-Chancellor, the Board may consult other expert or experts when necessary on any matter within its field.
