(1) As soon as may be after the commencement of this Act, there shall be established by the State Government, by notification in the official Gazette, a Board to be called the "Bhoodan Board " for purposes of carrying out the provisions of this Act. (2) The Bhoodan Board shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal and shall have power to accept, regularise and distribute lands received as Bhoodan . (3) The Bhoodan Board shall consist of the following members, namely ;- (a) 1[ The chairman shall be nominated by the State Government.
