Inthis Act unless the context otherwise requires,- (i) “Academic Council” means the Academic Council of the University constituted under section 14 of the Act; (ii) “Board of Management (BOM)” means the Board of Management of University constituted under section 13; (iii) “AICTE” means the All India Council of Technical Education; (iv) “Chancellor” means the Chancellor of the Auniati University; ) “College” means an institution of the University in accordence with the provisions of this Act and the Statutes and includes a College established, maintained and managed by the University; (vi) “Constituent College” means a College established, managed, maintained and controlled by the University outside the main campus but within the jurisdiction of the University; {(vii) “CSIR” means Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Central Government ; (viii) “Dean” means the Dean of a Faculty of the University; (ix) “DEC” means Distance Education Council established under section 28 of Indira Gandhi National Open University Act, 1985; Central Act No. 50 of
