(1) The Director of Post-Graduate Studies shall be a whole-time officer of the university and shall be appointed by the vice-chancellor subject to the approval of the board. (2) The Director of Post-Graduate studies shall have the following duties namely :- (a) to co-ordinate Post-Graduate studies in all colleges, departments and sections of the University; (b) to effect general co-ordination of post-graduate thesis research programmes with the on going programme of the University's Agricultural Research Services, through the Director of Agricultural Research ; (c) to supervise maintenance of records pertaining to Post- Graduate course, instructions and students.
