(1) The Director of Physical Plant shall be appointed by the Vice - Chancellor with the approval of the board. (2) The Director of Physical Plant shall have the following duties, namely:- (a) to make arrangements for the purchase and maintenance of machinery and other equipment necessary for the purpose of the University ; (b) to make arrangements for the maintenance and construction of the buildings and other structures of the University; (c) to be responsible for the maintenance of the lawns, grounds and gardens ot the University campus; (d) he shall be the general custodian of all University property ; and (e) such other duties as may be prescribed or as may be assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor.
