In th e principal Act, in Section 10, in sub- io of Assam section (2),— Act XXIV of 1968. ---------- y, (a) for clause (b), th e follow ing shall be substituted, n a m e ly :— "(b) (i) The F inance C om m issioner; (ii) The S ecretary, P anchayat and C om m unity D evelopm ent D ep art m ent ; (iii) The A griculture P roduction Com m issioner ; and (iv) The Secretary, V eterin ary D epart m ent ; (b) for clauses (h), (i) and (j), th e follow ing shall be substituted, n a m e ly :— "(h) Two rep resen tativ es of teachers, one from teachers teaching A gri cu ltu re and th e oth er from teachers teaching V e te rin a ry ; (i) T he D irector of A gricu ltu re ; (j) The D irector of V eterin ary and A nim al H usbandry; an d ” (c) for sub-section (4). the follow ing shall be substituted, nam ely :— "(4) The te rm of office of the non-official m em ber shall be five years and such a m em ber shall be eligible to serve for m ore th a n one te rm .”
