- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the Assam Agricultural University (Amendment) Act, 1986
- S. 2In the principal Act, in Section 6, for sub- of Assam116 section (2), the following shall be substituted

- S. 5Amends Section 12 of the Assam Agricultural University Act by substituting a new clause and deleting Sections 13A and 13B.
- S. 6In the principal Act, th e Sections 13A and 13B shall be deleted
- S. 9In the principal Act, in Section 19
- S. 11The section amends the principal Act to replace certain research directors with new titles.
