In the principal Act, after section 13, the following new sections shall be inserted, namely :- " 13 A (1) The Research Advisory Committee shall consist of the Vice-Chancel lor as Chairman, the Director of Research as member-Secretary, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, the Deans of Colleges, Director of Post- Graduate studies, Associate Direc tors of Research and Extension, the Director of Extension, the Director of Agriculture, the Direc tor of tor of Forests, Irrigation and the Veterinary and Animal Husban dry as members. cellor may co-opt any other mem bers to secure adequate representa tions of different fields of Agri culture. Director of Agriculture, Director of Animal Husbandry & Veteri nary, Director of Panchayat and C.D., Director of Public Instruc tion as other members. (2) Powers, functions and duties of Extension Education Advisory Committee shall be to advise the Vice-Chancellor regarding (a) the co-ordination of University Extension Education Programme with the State National Program me ; (b) the allocation of funds for Exten sion Education works ; and (c) ways and means of increasing the effectiveness of University’s Ex tension Education Programme”.
