Whoever sells or delivers any weight or weighing instrument not authorised, verified or stamped under this Act, shall on conviction, be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with imprisonment of either description which may extend to one year. Penalty for forging of stamp or tampering with weights etc.
