Refusol to register the tourism unit, trovel ogent/tour operotor, guide ond odventure sporB operotor : The prescribed outhority moy refuse registrotion ofthe tourism unit or trovel oqent/tour operotor or guide or odventure sports operotor, os the cose moy be, under this Act on ony of the following grounds : (o) if ttre tourism unit operotot tour operotor, or fte trovel ogent/ tour operotor orthe guide orthe odventure sports operotor, os the cose moy be, is convicted of ony offence under Chopters-XlV ond XVI of the lndion Penol Code, I 860 (45 of 1860) or under ony of the provisions of this Act or ony offence punishoble under ony low providing for prevention of hoording, smuggling or profiteering or odulterotion of lood or drugs or corruption ond two yeors hove not elopsed since the terminotion oI the sentence imposed upon him ; (b) if the tourism unit operotor or the trovel ogenvtour operotor or the guide or the odventure sports operotor, os the cose moy be, hos been declored on insolvent by o court of competent jurisdiction ond hos not been dischorged ; (c) if the nome o{ tourism unit operotor or o trovel ogenvtour operotor or o guide or on odventure sports operotor, os the cose moy be, hos been removed from the register on the grounds mentioned in clouses (c), (d), (e) or (g) of section 8 ond three months hove not elopsed since the dote of such removol ; (d) if the premises of the tourism unit do not conform to the prescribed stondord ; (e) if the trovel ogent or o guide or on odventure sports operotor does not possess ony of the prescribed quolificotions; t2 (f) if the tourism unit operotor foils to produce the proof thot he stucture of tre tourism unit hos been built in occordonce with the building bye-lows mode under the provisions of the Arunochol Prodesh Urbon ond Country Plonning Act,2007 (No.3 of 2008) Building bye-lows or under ony other locol lows in force ; ond (g) if in the opinion of the prescribed outhority, there is ony sufficient ground to be recorded in writing, for relusing registrotion ;
