The Vice-Chairperson: (1) Minister of State (Education) or an eminent educationist as may be determined by the Government shall be the Vice-Chairperson of the Council. (2) The Vice-Chairperson shall be. the executive head of the Council. (3) The Vice-Chairperson shall preside over the meetings of the Executive Council in absence of the Visitor and the Chairperson, as the case may be. ( 4) The Vice-Chairperson shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed.
