The Controller of Examinations shall, under the overall supervision and guidance of the Chairman, be responsible for - (a) the actual conduct of the examination process excluding the preparation and printing of the question papers; (b) the safe custody of examination materials, both before and after the examination; (c) the preparation, confidentiality, accuracy and publication of the results ; (d) recommend and ensure the process of upgradation and reform of examination process subject to the approval of the Board ; (e) Maintaining of records of all examinations conducted by the Board. Provided that the chairman may, assign such other duties or functions to the Controller of Examinations, or may assign allor any of the functions of the Controller of Examinations to any other otficial of the Board, if, in his opinion, it is necessary to do so in the interest of confidentiality, speed and smooth conduct of the examination process.
