For the purposes of this Act,- (a) the surface transport systems shall include streets, roads, footpaths, pedestrian pathways, parking areas, transportation terminals, both for passengers and goods, bridges, subways, over-bridges, ferries and inland water transport systems, and (b) the transport system accessories shall includes traffic engineering schemes, street furniture, street lighting, parking lots and bus stops.
